Dutchman's Wood-Fired Bagels

Fall of my senior year in college, I took a class called Documentary Photography, taught by Michael Kolster. While we had smaller, weekly assignments, our main project was a semester long dive into a topic of our choosing. The topic could be anything - a place, a person, a situation, etc. I knew from early on that I wanted to learn about one of the local businesses in my college town; I ended up going with Dutchman's Wood-Fired Bagels, a relatively new business at the time.

At the end of the semester, we put together all of our projects into a photo book. We each had 6 spreads in the book to tell our stories. This is mine.
